Playing PC, Flash and retro games in a browser tab

wasmga.me runs every game inside the browser using WebAssembly. Here is what powers each part of its library.

Emulators

WasmBoy runs Game Boy and Game Boy Color titles. NES, Game Boy Advance, Master System and Arduboy games run in RetroArch cores launched through Nostalgist.js. Ruffle runs Flash content and js-dos runs DOS games.

Compiled games

SuperTux, SuperTuxKart, Neverball, Taisei, Warzone 2100, Flare, Endless Sky, C-Dogs SDL and Anarch are compiled from C and C++ source with Emscripten. Mindustry is compiled ahead of time from Java to JavaScript with TeaVM.

Original games

Snake, Sudoku, Sapper, Sourdough Solitaire and others run on wg, a lightweight custom engine written in C and Rust.
